Myrtle Beach: She’s awfully picturesque.
With smartphones in hand, droves of visitors snap pics of their adventures on the Grand Strand. They’re great for sharing (and getting likes!) And now, you can submit some for the Myrtle Beach scavenger hunt.

Piers: A photo paradise
Great pics, everywhere: Toward the skyline, at the waves, out into the ocean, everywhere. A pier is a perfect place to catch a great shot, and the Grand Strand has nine of them.
We have a few favorites:
Pier 14
This is a traditional stop for many Grand Strand visitors, and it’s got some history. It’s near many oceanfront resorts on the boardwalk. Have a meal and do some shopping while you’re here.
Apache Pier
This one is so long they put in a rest stop in the middle! It’s the longest wooden pier on the east coast: 1,206 feet. That’s almost a half mile! You’ll find it on the Apache Family Campground.
Cherry Grove Fishing Pier
Travel to the north end of Myrtle Beach for this fisherman-friendly pier. If the fish aren’t biting, you can get a bite for yourself at the Boardwalk Beach Cafe next door.

Other Myrtle Beach attractions
So many landmarks, but only so much time. Which is your favorite? One of these or another?
The Myrtle Beach Skywheel
Scheduled for a May reopening, SkyWheel is an unforgettable ride high above the Grand Strand. You’ll get lots of chances to snap breathtaking photos from this vantage point.
Broadway at the Beach
Where there’s fun, there are photo opportunities. Among the shops, restaurants, and entertainment here, you can take your pick of a pic. Or several!
Myrtle Waves
Surf’s up. With the family frolicking in the waves, you’re bound to get a great picture. It’s one of the summer’s most popular stops and the biggest of the Grand Strand’s five water parks.

Parasailing
You don’t need a drone for fantastic photos high above Myrtle Beach. When you soar high above the waves on a parasail, you see the beach from a bird’s-eye view.
Places to check out for parasailing
Ocean Watersports
Your adventure awaits. The crew at Ocean Watersports will do all they can to make this experience a memorable one.
Downwind Sails
The staff here has a great reputation for producing smiles and good times for guests. You’re in good hands! If you’re not quite ready for the parasail but want a water excursion, consider a banana boat ride. Downwind Sails has those, too.
